Very sad, prayers to the family.

I'm always cautioning my wife and daughter about driving home after dark, with the amount of deer around and the occasional elk, not to mention if livestock get loose.

X2. The flashing of headlights sure helps to warn the oncoming traffic.

I thought folks who lived in areas with lots deer crossing the roads put those whistle things on the radiator grill... you know.. the faster you drive the more they whistle kinda deal. They don't do that anymore? Long ago heard one of those... asked an adult why that car made that sound, and they explained the device to me.
