Which Non-Lead 20-Gauge Ammo to use for yotes?

I rec'd a 20 gauge as a gift from my brother for my son. It's still a little too big and heavy and long for him to handle just yet.

In the mean time... I want to order all the hunting ammo I'm going to need before Kommiefornia does the stupid ammo card BS.

The gun is a Maverick 88 26" bbl that is setup for accu-chokes. I think he told me it's got a Modified choke in it right now.

I need some Non-Lead ammo recommendations for Shooting:

Coyotes/Bobcat
Deer/Bear
Bunnies

RE: Bear - it looks like I'd have to buy an extra rifled slug barrel. Regs say only slugs for bear, no buckshot. And from what I gather only sabot'd slugs are non-lead... and sabot'd slugs require a rifled barrel... or at very least a rifled choke insert.

No insight to the ammo, but check with the vendor you are buying from. I have heard some have already stopped shipping to CA.

They have a cutoff date so that for sure in-transit orders will arrive inside the calendar year. Hence the reason I gotta hop on it.

Oh well... we'll see how it goes. Got some #2, #4, and #6 shot. (The #6 being for bunnies, etc.) All of them Steel. They didn't have Heavier than Leads available at the time of my ordering. They were all backordered. Probably all the diehard duck guys getting in all their orders before the ammo card BS.

Guess I'll have to actually bother to use a sling for my rifle now so I can also bring the shottie along on sets. This'll be interesting.

No one makes it. Federal make 00buck in steel.

Lead free in tungsten for yotes will be in T and smaller(off the shelf).

Kent bismuth will be an option for your 20 gauge.

If using apex ammo you can step down the shot size needed considerably.
