I just read an article in the WP from yahoo's main page: The right to bear arms isnt up for debate.
But one sentence stood out to me:

It makes no sense to allow the representatives of a free people to disarm their masters.


It sadens me no end that there are so many out there who would do just this. How can people be so short sighted? (stupid)
More importantly, what can be done to get through to these people? Is there anything?

Forget it, with very few exception, they would demand you surrender all your firearms even if you had just used one of those very weapon to save their life from someone intent on killing them. They are blinded by their liberal ideology.
