Where from?..looks sorta like Cache Creek.. They have tags this year?.unsure.. Grizzley Island puts forth some good ones every year .... I ask where from, not that it matters though in Cali...good luck pulling one.. Tule are only here right?
Hey Guys, How many pounds of meat you all suspect will come off one like that?
SO - It's hard to tell w/o better pictures or knowing the weight of the bull. I'm guessing right around 175 pounds of boneless cuts. I always ground my Elk out with the exception of the strippers & backstraps. If you ground it out you get more bang for you're buck. The weight of cuts is increased if beef or pork fat is added to the ground meat. :smiley-faces-toast-beers:
