My boy did it again ! Up the hill this weekend ! He went out with his dad and uncle to Silverwood Lake, (6:00am saturday, 5-2-09),early in the morning they fished near the damn on shore but wind was a problem so after a short move around a point they had a calm day. As it turns out that small move made all the difference and they got a ton of stripers to bite the offerings of frozen anchovies. The lake was quite for the most part with some wind mixed in. They bit good and they were headed home by 1pm. Sounds like the ticket for next weekend with temps in the IE forcasted in the mid 90's. The heat is less intense in Silverwood. The largest lineside, Travis caught weighed in at 5lbs. WTG lil Bro !!!

Congrats on the stringer! :apeani:

It's been years since I fished that lake for stripers. I've landed a few toads throwing jigs at the spillway and drifting the channel with chovies.
