Can I use buckshot on a coyote? I mean is it allowed in the regulations? I found a place to hunt coyotes, but I need to use a shotgun.

Thanks
Bill

Ya, thanks. I can NEVER keep up with all the regs. I read them, but am always paranoid about missing something. You know like, buckshot not allowed in San Diego County or only a certain buck size is allowed in CA

If you don't want to spend the ridiculous amount of money they want for Dead Coyote, then #4 Buck out of any choke works. Especially if you have a extra full choke.

Heath can tell you how well it works on stalked bobcats and stupid foxes that charge the truck and catch a load at 5 yds.

Heath...do tell! :smiley_10sign:

Yes #4 works just fine, but remember you can't reach out and touch them nearly at as great a distance as say a 22-250. But it works.
