The surface acreage of the Salton Sea is 243,718 acres. The project mentioned, starting at 500 acres and eventually going to 4,200 acres by 2028, encompasses 0.205% to start and 1.723% at the finish of the Sea's acreage. I'm thinking that that's not going to be enough to do much.
