rabbits & grizzly island

[DOG ON POINT]

Planning on heading north to band ducks at grizzly island. Wanted to get a rabbit hunt in while we're there, read it's closed to hunting because of elk season ...any other suggestions?

There’s no other hunting around Suisun/Grizzly Island. Everything else is an hr away.

Any suggestions would be appreciated! I'm already driving 7hrs, another hr won't hurt. It's our last roadtrip before school starts ... thanks though ...

Don’t know of any other place for cotton tails, but I know a couple coyotes spots in Napa. The problem is the 11[sup]th[/sup] is the A zone opener and it will be a zoo. My advice would be to go fish’n. If you have a A zone tag I can give you a couple spots to check out that are 45 min from Grizzly Island.....

There's one shotgun only spot in Napa. It "might" have cotton tails but there wont be any deer hunters in the area.....
