I finished up with my 3rd bird on the 29th...................Kristyn had one more to go. Her and I have worked our butts off all season. A certain mountain goat was up that weekend and he hunted with another TOFer Friday and Saturday and finished out the weekend with us. Sunday afternoon we were talking about how Kristyn basically had an hour and 15 minutes to hunt before she had to leave for work every day.........light switch went off in her head.

She had hunted with her brother on Sunday morning and he shot a nice longbeard out from under her :smiley-yakkin-pink:.............said mountain goat and myself had been hunting another orchard down the road and had seen a monster longbeard enter the orchard about 350 yards away from us. He was henned up and basically paid us no mind. She decided to hunt that entry point last Monday morning with no luck, then again Tuesday. She didn't hear him Tuesday but heard gobbles in a roost area on public land. She was off the mark Wednesday. Got in their zip code Thursday morning but it didn't work out. Then Friday morning as I was letting the pup out to dookie before I had to leave for work I heard the report from her gun from the backyard.

Kristyn really deserved this bird. 10 3/4 beard, 1 1/8" spurs. All by herself :smiley_10sign: Damn sideways pics

You're a blessed man Brandon. Way to go Kristyn!!!
Sure am. Now I just need to get her to figure out that any excess funds should go to buying white decoys and we will be set.
