Follow up report :
Took a while but healed up and finally able to step away from work to hit the hills in a wonderful 96 degree day. With limited hunting land available it was slim Pickens and didn’t see a deer until 1130! The swaro could make out some bone but at a mile away and heat waves that was about it. Elected to make the 1.5 hour journey over and thankfully it paid off. Nothing like hiking out in the heat of the day!

Hmm- not sure what sch is??
There was a California A zone general season thread on Rokslide I put the deer on- but besides that and here that’s about it.

SCH Southern cal. hunters. Lots of old TOF guys migrated over there. Some of the same guys on Rokslide. I go by GSPHUNTER on the Slide

I have tried to get some of the guys to come back over but they had issues they didn't want to expand on. Still think some of the guys who are not members who are always checking the forum out should join, It's not like it cost anything.

Forest closures suck and been trying to get my son his first buck so far this archery season.
