Hope the YouTube link below works. Best to watch in high definition (1080i by clicking on the little gear looking thing in the lower right).

Practicing for a freestyle competition in New Mexico at the end of the month.

Video shot at Milestone Motocross Park in Riverside.

Enjoy....

Those are cool pants he's wearing, you can't even tell he has GIANT BALLS. As a guy who once spent 9 months on disability from a dirt bike crash I salute him.

Pretty sweet!

Just curious.... Does he get into doing all the flips yet? I know there is a possibility that ramp isn't a good ramp for certain tricks I would assume.

Not flipping the bike yet. The ramp is fine as some of his riding buddies flip that ramp.

Flipping a dirtbike upside down is a big step but it is coming. First is the practice in the foam block pit to get the rotations dialed before taking it to dirt where the margin for error is very small and the risk of serious injury is great.

Sounds good! Praying for his safety as he makes the next step.

And this is why I would never flip a bike, but It looks like this is your sons passion -- so I will definitely be praying for his safety!

That's pretty cool. Takes lots of dedication to make it to the highest level and it looks like your son is on his way. When does he start getting all the tats like the other moto-x guys?

So far he has shown no interest in getting tats or piercings and maintains a very good GPA in college. Maybe some sponsors will appreciate those qualities in a young man...

That was partly tongue in cheek, but that is refreshing to hear.

Funny story but true. When my son was about 11 we were hanging out with Brian Deegan of the Metal Mulisha while riding at Lake Elsinore motocross park long before my son got involved in freestyle motocross. Brain told my son not to do what he did and get all of those tats and ear piercings. He told him he would regret it some day. It kind of shocked me coming from a guy covered in tats.

The other funny thing is when I had that talk with my young son about drugs I told him " If you want to get high do it on your dirtbike". He took that advice quite literally....

Cory took first place yesterday in the amateur division, up from 4th place last year in the same class for the same event.

Congrats on the first place finish son!
