Mixed feelings..... I'm no longer excited about the Ca draw. I only have max points with sheep.... drew everything else. I bought a lifetime license so hopefully someday I'll steal that tag from a resident before I die. Ed F

We are all in again this year..last resident draw for the hatchets before we leave this god forsaken state..max points on everything for daddy, X zones are it this year for us, I know a guy....might go girl Elk this year..better odds..definetly going sage maggot.. And of course sheep...good as shot as anyone with Max points for the chiva..good luck fellas..

I'm so happy I don't have to wait for 3 months to even see what might be a hunt choice this year......as in, I'm in NM and will know what I drew and start a plan for a hunt by next month.

Hatch, Don't forget to buy your lifetime license before you leave. You keep your points and have the same draw odds as everyone else as Ca doesn't differentiate between residents and non-residents.... only one elk and sheep tag for non-residents. Doubt there are many non-residents with max points. Plus I get one deer tag and five pig tags.... for the rest of my life and don't have to pay non-resident fees... I love Ca now.... Ed F
