The story well it was a quick one got to the zone had a few hours before dark so decided to drive around to try and learn the area a bit. Got into deer right away kept driving then I spotted this guy with 10 does about 400 yards away. Told my dad grab your gun and go this is your buck he has to be 30 inches. My dad takes off never seeing the buck but seen the does. I sit there watching then I see three dies spook and I figure it’s over
But as luck would have it they don’t really spook and my dad continue to skirt them. He finally sees a buck and thinks to himself that boy is loosing it he is a solid 4x4 thick and heavy but not close to 30 inches. Then the big boy steps out behind him 50 yard shot went maybe 40 yards game over
