I'll start. This is Shadow ( as many of you know). She is a three year old Yellow Lab (obviously). This is her second season to hunt. She has been a joy to hunt with. I have a new found love of waterfowl hunting again because of her. Limits are not as important anymore as long as I can knock down enough birds for her to have fun. Any thing she does wrong in the field is pretty much my fault and not her's. I sometimes get lazy and let her get away with things I shouldn't. But hey, she's like one of the kids, so it's hard to get on her to bad.

Latest pic at 10 weeks last monday awaiting for dinner. Today he just turned 11 weeks.

Picture424.jpg

Yesterday he ripped up the cushions on our backyard furniture- Crapped on his pillow in the house and attacked the cat. He was a difficult child yesterday and I am sure more days like that will come for another year and a half- Other than that he is angel  -EXTREAMLY smart and alot of fun. <puppies will be puppies>

Also he was the Alpha male of the bunch- this is totally new territory for me in raising a pup. <A Female was the Alpha of them all. Our most heart felt wishes to the Family of her-I can only guess what they are dealing with. >

I will take some more today. Some of it is from resizing lower. yea thats it. uh huh yep.

But, trust me there is no slowing her down when we are out playing. the only time she is slow is when she sleeps. She has 2 modes. run and sleep.

Here is 2 from this morning I took just for this. The first is the only time she sat in 2hrs out and she only sat for about 1/2 second. the other is an old bird scent that flushed about 2 minutes before she got there. Just a bunch of tweeties.

This one isn't a hunting dog, I know, but she is my guardian angel.

Not the best hunting dog I've ever had but he is loyal and hides real well in the duck blind and he loves to camo up right before the hunt. Pain in the butt gettin off him but he seems to like it.
