Went for a walk on Friday and ran into these guys. He's gonna be a stud!

About three weeks ago I saw two bucks with roughly 5" stumps as well. Only four months to go guys...

Ouch, four days. New job is killer, great bunch of guys I am fortunate to work with.

Hopefully I can get the big lens out and get some velvet shots in a couple months. :cross-fingers:

Not a classic Sierra buck, but this guy will be a nice D-16 deer this fall.................... :smiley-deer:

PS
I just looked at this picture a little closer and there's another buck in left hand corner................ :2:

GLC- I thought the first buck was stumpy but now I'm not sure. Similarly I thought the wide buck was a stud till downloaded the pics on the 'puter. He's more like a kangaroo rat with antlers.

I been watching some bucks the past week. Several days ago I spotted four of them together and I was without camera or phone!.
I caught this guy a day or so later with my phone so the pics not great but check out the velvet monster.

It's July, and they still have a ways to go.
