Didn't the old timers always say you can't eat the antlers? I am still lost about whats wrong with a forky? Mine tastes just fine!

for me I shot the first legal deer I see. bottom line is this I have not bought meat from a store in 16 years and the younger ones teats better.

it not that their are not bigger deer on Public land its just most are not willing to walk in nearly far enough.

but you are right most deer here in Ca are taken on privet land, I'm in Wilderness Unlimited and it works for me
