Congrats on drawing a great tag. Hope the weather cooperates and you find a great buck. Sure to be a great hunt.
Im looking for bands for sure... I want a 5x5, shoot high miss high rightmeatgetter said:Knowing Rod, he's gonna poke a 180" 5x6 with a radio collar.
why do you think the quality has dropped?BOHNTR said:I scout it just about every Thanksgiving weekend for the last 10 years...........there's still plenty of deer, but the quality is WAY down, IMO. I haven't seen a legit buck over 170" net in a few years.....lots of big framed 3x3 and 3x4's.......and some giant 2x2's. It should be a fun hunt where you'll look over a lot of deer and people. Just don't set yourself up for 170"+ bucks throughout the unit, as it's unrealistic anymore.
So what you are saying it's the Dfg's management.... shockingBOHNTR said:Too many tags issued over the years.........and no ability to cull genetically inferior deer.
I have seen soo many suggestions over the years. This being one of them. Another was move it north of there one year and back the next.American outlaw said:So maybe a good management hunt? 3x3 or less? It would be another good hunter opportunity?
