I scout it just about every Thanksgiving weekend for the last 10 years...........there's still plenty of deer, but the quality is WAY down, IMO. I haven't seen a legit buck over 170" net in a few years.....lots of big framed 3x3 and 3x4's.......and some giant 2x2's. It should be a fun hunt where you'll look over a lot of deer and people. Just don't set yourself up for 170"+ bucks throughout the unit, as it's unrealistic anymore.

I have seen soo many suggestions over the years. This being one of them. Another was move it north of there one year and back the next.

I'm setting myself up to hunt hard for about 20 days I WILL find one of the 3x4's daddy's.... my uncle just dropped off 70 rounds he reloaded for my gun for me to practice with. Including the dreaded CA compliant 165 grain bullets. One of those cartridges has a his name on it and I will be ready to send it when the time comes
