It hasn't rained for a few years on the opener.

The tow trucks will be busy

Sweet Jesus.. Dove.
Don't be afraid to step up Matt. No one limits us as much as we limit ourselves. You've been successful with many lesser species, just think of all of that as preparation for taking on the mighty mourning dove, and God willing, an actual duck. I know ... you're thinking "why .. that's beyond anything Ive ever imagined. - even on those lonely nights when the wife's been on a business trip .. I could never .." I say "yes you can!" or as that great hunter Obama said "Si se "puede!

Personally, its been a few years since I've experienced hot fog and lightning while standing in an open field with my personal lightning rod. Bring it!

I checked on my spot this morning, looked OK. Should be 107 for our opener.

That is a hell of a lot of rain. I see Lloyd stayed dry though.

By hot and dry you mean mid-80's right?

Yes... We might touch 90... might.

Sad thing is we will both be moaning and groaning about how hot it is...

Is dove hunting in colorado pretty void of idiots or does that transcend state borders?
It is unbelievable what I've seen on dove opener.
