Made a quick trip up the 395 to get away and let my son downhill mountain bike with his friends. It rained or hailed most of the time but we got one good day in at Crowley. Only caught 20 fish total but 10 were 19"-21". My son caught a bow, brown and cutthroat in the same day which I have never done there. I got a 20" cutthroat and 2 rainbows that size when I wasn't playing deck hand but nobody takes my picture.

The morning we went to Crowley I walked down to the condo garage and heard a noise just in time to see a big cinnamon colored bear jump out of the Land Rover parked next to us. He broke a window, ate their granola bars and punctured a bottle of Smart Water. Scratched the crap out a door and punctured the seats, glad we didn't leave food in our vehicle.

Yes, perch fishing is pretty good right now. Brought the grubs for it but never got around to it. Fall trout fishing there when the big fish are crashing on the perch fry in the weeds is the best.
