when you put in for a easy tag always buy the point. this way you still get points for the dream zone but can hunt every year

Looks like my daughter drew a deer tag for the NW, I'll be playing guide for her. Nada for me, point creep sucks! Already got my sheep refund.

Thanks ODP, but with the cut in quota and my desire to hunt every year, I changed up. My zone isn't 100%. I've drawn 2 decent tags in the last 10 years in CO, but moving on.

Still playing points in Utah (15) and Cali, but zeroed out with others.

I'm hoping, and writing the commission, that they put an end to this. They have already taken a huge step forward by changing the deadline for returning tags and getting your points back.
