It's getting close my friends.
Any choices yet?
How many points do you have for the limited quota hunts.
And are you still milling over what to put in for.

I'm maxed out on everything. But I'm gonna throw my points away at a particular Deer Zone.
And it doesn't start with a "G."

I'll do the usual put in for that G zone tag and end up with a A-31 apply for the elk tag and see if lightning strikes twice, points for the lopes, and I'll send my donation for the sheep tag.

I've gone with AO tags for the past few years, so i might mix it up a bit and get a D3-5 tag.........but i have a few points and might try for for one of the Eastern Sierra archery tags. Gotta wait till the booklet comes out to see some draws odds.

I've got max points for everything except deer, I'm due for a Tule tag!
For deer it'll probably be a B and a D zone tags.

Since I only have 1/2max points it doesn't matter, but I'll collect a PP on a first, D7 and A.And pick up another PP for elk here, which will wind up being a cow tag with the odds on bulls going away for good.

Goodale buck hunt. Tough draw but some people are lucky. A friend of the family and his son drew it, with no points. I think it was 3 years ago. Then last year they drew it again. What are the odds?

Yea, sometimes luck is the better then points. A couple years before the point system started me and my son put in for party tags for Tenemaha cow elk (first time ever for elk), and X-9a. We drew both. Haven't had any good luck in the draw since.
