Hunted Wister Wednesday on my buddy's mid #50 resv.
We noticed a couple of Blue geese flying around. Amazingly one Blue flew down our dike with two whites. Finished morning with 5 geese. half dozen ducks but not one broadbill to save our life :smiley-violin: .Mounted Blue (Texas '95) in pic shows Wister bird w/ almost identical coloration as his Central flyway cousin Blues are rare in the
central valley but maybe more common here because your geese are via Utah splintering off the central flyway ?? View attachment 71175

Nice bird, congrats! Blues are much more common than they were a few decades ago but still a prize. You should remove the area you hunted from your post IMO.
