At another place the victim said a sow charged from 40', he had just enough time to put up his arm and pull his pistol, the gun stopped the attack abruptly while the bear was on him.

Lots of griz in those parts.. Last year a hunter from pa got chewed up just on the Montana side.... I will be up near there come sat... I will have my bear spray... Two full mags worth...

If your in griz country including jellystone you better be packin. There was a study a few years ago where the griz shadowed the elk hunters, that will keep you up at night. And came in quick after the gun shots

I did a horseback elk/trout hunt many years ago in griz country and no fish were to be brought back to camp or your gone and no refund

I hope we get a few in this state would love to know how vegan taste and the damn seals in La Jolla Cove could use a new predator
