Working on my buddies .280 ai just got the barreled action back from the gunsmith and now sanding down the stock for fitment then hopefully I'll bed it sometime tomorrow then it's off to the cerakoter for a coat of flat back install the Jewell trigger and we're ready to go. Stock is a McMillan stock with edge (carbon fiber)
Should be light and long range capable. Tape on the action is 20mil landscape tape used for taping drainage pipe it creates a nice space between barrel and stock so when I epoxy bed it the barrel has a nice consistent free float on the barrel

Here's the scary part when you sand down a $600 dollar McMillan stock and fill it with epoxy and hope it all turns out ok
