Awesome George! Saw one up close somewhat recently like that as well.

Couple weeks later, saw him killing ducks.

Henshaw has a pair that like to sit in the trees right where I set-up......No coot is safe..... :smiley-ugly-lol-bashing-sign:

I would love to see an eagle swoop down and kill a coot. That is on my bucket list.

Tule Lake used to hold a large flock of bald eagles. I was told by locals there that each eagle would kill and eat 60 ducks per day
