I know there is not a whole lot of difference in weight here, but I found two off the shelf ammos that shoot well, 1 inch groups at 100 yards in my rifle. One is 32 grains and the other 39.

Is there anything wrong with shooting coyotes with 32 grain bullets, do the 39s produce less cripples?

Otherwise, I think I would prefer to shoot the 32s
Thanks
Bill

Hey Bill,

I've shot 32 grs, 34 gr hollowpoints, 39 gr Blitzking and 40 gr. Hornandy's through my Ruger VT in .204. My gun didn't like the 40's, which i read was pretty typical of the round. It shot the 32's and the 39's almost exactly the same, so I went with the heavier gr. for coyotes. I have no experience with shooting coyotes with the 32's, but the 39 grs. dropped four for me yesterday...good luck.
