Damn it I'm so happy for you and jealous at the same time man. So far I've been unsuccessful in pulling a crew together to go hunting. Fucking wankers in this country don't appreciate the joy and beauty in shooting an animal and then eating it!
Thanks for all the advise guys... But I've settled my mind and bought the junior Alpine compound bow. It will work well I believe for hunting small game like labba, agouti, iguana and birds. I'm quite happy and excited to get it. Should meet me in about two- three weeks time.
Damn wished we had turkey to hunt here in my country looks freaking awesome. Instead we got the (Jabiru Stork). Planning on taking a few out come next two - three weeks.
If I'm reading this correctly you guys have to pay to hunt in the states? Over here for us we just go shoot whatever without any trouble, don't need a permit or nothing.
Except for those hunters with guns, need a license for the gun that's about it.
Yea I have no problem getting info on certain bows lol... And I'm very interested in getting into bow hunting. Don't know no other bow hunter in Guyana... Also it's something I would want to pass on to my children.
Lots of game here but people not that much into hunting, and the ones who does...
Well basically shooting at a very close range, about 10-15 yrds maybe even closer. And I know never to dry fire a compound bow. I've read that countless times, but no one ever explains why you shouldn't dry fire it lol.
I'm very serious about getting into it but the problem with that plan is I live in Guyana, South America. They're no sporting shops or gun shops or anything like that. So I can't go into a shop and talk to an expert and try a few bows and see which feels comfortable for me.
Reason I'm not...
Yea i know the tomkat is a better bow, but i happen to have too much trouble with it, will get it back up and running though. But for now i'll settle for this bow.
Basically i've choose the following setup for the bow and arrows. Any advise would be welcome guys.
