We are back. Not the trip we wanted, but had a great time. He got a pretty good one that beat him out of the chute and he couldn't recover. Already focusing on next year. We did get to attend our first WNFR and it was VERY cool!! Definitely want to go again!!

socal.. if you get down there this weekend be sure to go by the Wrangler arena in the convention center. Lots of activities going on.. My son will be riding in the first ever Mini Bareback Riders World Championship on Saturday and hopefully Sunday if he makes it..

If you have never used or seen the higher end coolers.. there is no comparison to performance. Don't pay the price if you don't want to, but quit trying to tell me that coleman and igloo are just as good. They aren't. I bought an off brand Yeti and have never owned a cooler that will hold ice...

Thanks for the insight. He is starting to retrieve better and getting used to his new environment. Not sure if he will ever turn into much, but would love to be able to take him out with us anyways. He is a lover and craves attention. Will give me son something to do this summer anyways...

Question for all of you hard core duckers.. Since I am a very part-time ducker. Got a new lab a few weeks ago. Kind of a rescue situation. Sweet boy. Is 4yrs old too old to train for ducks? My son really wants to train him but not sure if it will work or not???

My son lost a hex key bolt out of the top of his site on his bow. I guess he was adjusting it and it fell out somehow. No idea what size, but is it as simple as picking up a new bolt at Home Depot???

Paul.. I have to admit.. I have been wanting to try it as well. A buddy of mine went up there last year and said it was a blast!! We had a group fly in while goose hunting last year but no one was able to take one down...
