That is what western outdoors is saying. I caught many trout out of there over the years.

Opened starting the 17th for fishing Friday, Saturday, Sunday.  Closed the rest of the week.  Hours 7am to 4 pm.  $5 parking fee.  Fishing free!  No private boats, rental boats, float tubes, etc.  Shore fishing only.

Free fishing, that won't last long. Got to pay for new stocking.

The County is running it now.  I doubt they'll pay for any stocking.  If they stock it at all it will probably be the DFW 6 inch "catchable" size trout.

The county stocks plenty of other lakes with trout larger than 6". Stocker trout are for kids anyway.

That is a great warm water fishery. Focus on bass, crappie, and catfish.
