The Yort klan showed up in New Mexico last week for a family fun hunt.

By the end of the 1st day, all but 1 tag was filled. The next morning my oldest daughter & I got to hang out for an hour before she pulled the trigger on the final cow to drop.

Although this was not a back packers dream hunt by any means, we were able to spend plenty of time on some semi-long failed stalks for my youngest daughters 1st ever hunt, which only took 1 shot from her 6.5 Creedmoor to drop a cow for a dirt nap.

Anyways, I'll get some pics posted in a bit.

It’s not always about the blood, sweat, and tears!

Sounds like a great trip- look forward to seeing the smiling faces and downed elk burgers!

Nice work!

Give me a bow, a topo and two weeks and I guarantee I kill two weeks!

Just like hunting spots posted online, stupidity is searchable forever.

I thought we were going to see some pics?
Fins for breakfast, Feathers for lunch and Fur for dinner. A well balanced diet...
