I’ve been scouting since early September with a couple trail cams in the old faithful spots from 2012-2015. Hunted hard opening weekend for not even a sighting. Lots of girls on the cams at regular times all season with ONE legal fork rolling through at 0400 midweek during the last week of general season. On a different note a buddy and I got into a few groups of does this week and were able to put on several stalks with the stick and string. Hoping to punch the A31 tag before the season ends. Any D11 guys have any better luck this season?

Man, I've arrowed quite a few bucks in D-11 over the years........since I moved to Arizona this year, though, I don't think of it much anymore.  It's a nasty, dry and brush cloaked unit.  The key to D-11 is finding a good water source......some acorns......and bowhunting the rut!

When do you think they rut up there? I’ve had the most buck sightings and success late Oct- early Nov. This year was tough though. The Station Fire burn is getting beyond its prime, lots of oaks still producing, they just hide em better now

Usually the last two weeks of October are peak......but I had good luck in the pre-rut time as well.
