While driving around last evening at work seen some good deer movement :smiley-wnk-yellow: so thanks to the time change giving me a little longer time to hunt before work the plan was set.  Got up to my spot and what do I see sky lined at 30 yards but a legal buck.  Shoot him then another smaller legal buck steps out lol when its going its going but my other tag is a31 so will have to try later.

On a side note this if the first animal I have killed with copper so I put 3 in him before he fell (Hey long as there standing I'm shooting)  I was really impressed with the 308 Winchester lead free hog rounds looked like a grenade went off inside him

Nice work. Nice way to start the day.

"One final paragraph of advice: do not burn yourselves out. Be as I am - a reluctant enthusiast....a part-time crusader, a half-hearted fanatic. Save the other half of yourselves and your lives for pleasure and adventure. It is not enough to fight for the land; it is even more important to enjoy it. While you can. While it's still here. So get out there and hunt and fish and mess around with your friends, ramble out yonder and explore the forests, climb the mountains, bag the peaks, run the rivers, breathe deep of that yet sweet and lucid air, sit quietly for a while and contemplate the precious stillness, the lovely, mysterious, and awesome space. Enjoy yourselves, keep your brain in your head and your head firmly attached to the body, the body active and alive, and I promise you this much; I promise you this one sweet victory over our enemies, over those desk-bound men and women with their hearts in a safe deposit box, and their eyes hypnotized by desk calculators. I promise you this; You will outlive the bastards."

Nice work!

Give me a bow, a topo and two weeks and I guarantee I kill two weeks!

Just like hunting spots posted online, stupidity is searchable forever.

Great way to start the day! Did you call in sick to work? ;-)

Cush was the father of Nimrod, who grew to be a mighty warrior on the earth. He was a mighty hunter before the LORD; that is why it is said,"like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before the LORD." ....................... -Genesis 10:8-9
