Got my tags for 2018 the other day, did anybody else notice this...?

Hmmph... strange... it appears my California Hunting License and Tags were mailed to me originating from Dallas, TX.

PM 3 L"

And where the post is printed on the envelope it lists zip 75261 which is Dallas.

Does it not seem odd to anyone else that something dealing with revenues generated by our state is getting apparently processed and mailed out from Texas?

Right off the bat makes me think about how a portion of those funds is being lost on being able to remain within our state and remain part of the economy in this state. And I dunno, something about that just seems fundamentally wrong to me.

I think my Utah license comes from Nevada.

I want to say Active Outdoors is the vendor for 20+ states. The probably have print facilities all over the US.
