So I booked a goose hunt out of Maxwell for next Friday. Knowing that I would be up north I applied for every refuge in the area down to the grasslands. I got drawn #65 for Volta. Not sure I'll be able to get to the refuge after the goose hunt before dark so I'll be going in completely blind. Anyone hunt Volta? Looks to be all free roam. Is there areas you have to pick like Kern or are you free to go wherever? Any advise would be appreciated. Parking lot, area/unit. Where not to go? I'm desperate. Not asking for GPS coordinates but I'll take them..j/k

I have no clue Ron, but I wish you good luck at Volta and on your goose hunt.

Maybe wiggie or waterfowlsniper have some Intel for you...
