The last time I fished with my dad was Fathers Day 2013 and on that day I caught my first bass over 10lbs in Texas!! I've caught plenty when I lived in CA just happened to catch my first here with my dad on the boat!! Since then he's had to have 2 hip surgeries on the same hip, first one to wasn't done right anyways it just was possible for him to go since it was tough for him to get up and down. Well the second surgery went better he still has to walk with a cane but he can get up and down pain free so that's good. Well the weather looked good (calm) for today so I told him we're going fishing!! Well it started off slow fished a few different spots with just a couple small ones. So I made the run to a spot the we fished the last time we fished together well it happened again I caught another giant not a 10lber but she weight 8.01 and I'll take that any day what's even better I was fishing with my dad!! I know there's not too many more days so now that his hip is as good as it's gonna get. Sorry for the long read just really thankful I got to take my dad fishing again and same day, same spot, pretty much same cast just different bait pretty cool if you ask me!! Thanks Dad....

Today's 8.01lber

Both fish 10.01lbs and 8.01lbs Fathers Day 2013 & 2017!
