I know if I'm archery hunting I can't have a firearm on me. But if I bring my son along for a coyote or rabbit. .. can he carry a small caliber rifle?

Yes. But explaining all that to a game warden isn't worth it to me.

Get him a bow and let him hunt some rabbits.
Fins for breakfast, Feathers for lunch and Fur for dinner. A well balanced diet...

A co-worked asked why I wanted to kill a deer. I said "because they won't stay on the BBQ if I don't kill them first"

I like the bow and rabbit idea. I might just get him an AO and let shoot away if we're lucky enough to see anything.

I once asked a warden that question.... Wait, now that I think of it he never answered my question and proceeded to asking me questions.

No sh_t, huh!  Like they can't even respect the ones that are TRYING to ask them what's up and do the right thing!
