The hell I did! My havalon glanced off my finger nail up and under my cuticle. That area bleeds, a lot!

I once stood 7 yards from a pissed off black bear...... Still wasn't as scared as when I use my Havalon.

The old 10% rule has been the death of many, just be 10% smarter than the tool you are working with and you will be ok...

Give me a bow, a topo and two weeks and I guarantee I kill two weeks!

One of these days I am gonna break down and buy a havalon knife, but, until then I will be a snob.

Uncredible knives and blades fo'sure! Paul, for what you and Jr kill per year, it'd be worth owning a few. I have a bad history with knives.

I was checking out the new havalon yesterday, the one with two blades-it's a boat anchor! Weighs a ton!

Handles on them look to small and skinny to me.  Handle is a big part of a knife to me.  If it fits right, your hand does better.  Gerber Gator is a good knife for the money.  Holds an edge well and is light with a good handle.

Most custom knives I have seen look nice, but, I would not pack  them.
