It's good for the hippies to see a little blood.  Stop and eat a sandwich out of your bloody hands and offer them some.    Nice solo work.  Bigger deer would have been 2 trips, and the 2nd is never as fun as the first.

Dude..upon inspection of the trophy..those eyeguards will score..thus putting him in the magical 70" range for sure!! Nice work!! D-zone for the forky hunters starts on the 10th here....i can only hope to fill many eager freezers with forks o plenty!!that's a whopper for our hood.

Thanks guys!!! The best part - i still have another tag in my pocket and this one is reserved for a good one! Stay tuned.

Update: fried backstrap on biscuits for dinner/lunch/dinner. Have had this exact meal the past 20 years post kill. Tomorrow is venison fajitas for lunch and stew for dinner with 4lbs headed to the smoker for jerkey. I'll have this deer half eaten by the weekend!
