I have 2 Conquests and a Diavari.  I like the RapidZ800 reticle system they have.  I would say get it, if it has that system.

What's a good price?

Depends on which scope.  For instance a 4x14 Conquest should be maybe $800 new.  $500 used or less would be okay.

if it is the 6.5x20 you should be looking in the high 600 to low 700 range if it is spotless.

I got the scope for $400. It came with Leopold base and ringsand Butler caps. I think it's a good deal and he paid shipping. Its the RapidZ800.

That was a deal.

I finally got a great scope too.

Zeiss Conquest 3.5-10x44 Rapid-z 600.  Made in US,last run.  $600 new, seen them for $800-1200. Just put in load data, rifle and such on their site, and there it is. Drop and windage laid out on reticle. I'll take Paul's advice and tape to stock.

Mounting on Talley lt. wt. base/ring in one. Going to do it right this time, lapping and all.

Can't wait to try it out next week.
