Ok so I hope by now you all relize utahs big game draw is open, so here it is I didnt relize it until a buddy let me know, you have to have a hunting lisence to appy for big game, if you put in last year you have one already...utahs hunt lis. are 365 to the min!...so here it is....I appleied last year on 2/9/09 at 9:36 pm.....I have a lis. until 2/9/10 at9:36pm at 9:37pm tomarrow i will no longer have a utah hunt lis.......I already put in for the draw again this year with the same hunting lis. I bough last year....I saved myself 65 buck this year...do you get it know?....Im sure there is plenty of you out there that probly already know this but those of you that just log on and buy your lis. first wait..... check out your hunt lis. and see when you have till.....hope it helps some of you...good luck

That is some really good info. Are you sure of it. Do I have to find my license from last year?

That's the troof. I did it this year too. The system will actually recognize that you already own a license and will not charge you for it. Towards the end, before you submit, look at the top and under license it will say "already have".

No you dont need it bud, I just though I would post it up for the people like myself that usally log on and buy a hunt lis. first.....and would never know!

I just tried it. I must have applied real early last year. I had to pay. Wife and I have 10 points for elk. Having reservations about hanging in there, but, gonna go at least one more year.

Thats good news but if you draw do you still have to have a valid license to hunt during the season?

skeet you do not need a hunting lis. to hunt big game in utah only to appy for the draw....good luck!

Thanks for the tip huntcrazy...I just got reminder from UT and will log on and apply now.I have Gen points to use up this year and building up for the Henry's too some day. Just got off the site and it worked great,will be in UT for Gen. deer this year and have my elk and deer bonus points,thanks again for the tip.
