Registration to this forum is free and all are welcome! In order to insure that the forums remain a pleasant and enjoyable experience for everyone, we do insist that you abide by the rules and policies detailed below.
You MUST use a valid, working email address in order to register. If the email address you provide us is incorrect, you will not be able to activate your account. TOF does not sell, share or otherwise disclose member’s personal information. We may occasionally need to contact members via e-mail, so it is important that the email address you provide be correct.
An account activation link will automatically be sent to the email account you registered with. You must click on that link to activate your TOF account
Please allow up to 36 hours for your account to be approved/activated. Once this process is complete, you will have full access to the site and forums as a registered member.
Although the administrators and moderators of TOF will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages, or keep everyone happy. All messages express the views of the author, and do not necessarily reflect the views of TOF or its staff, Invision, or any affiliates. The Aforementioned are not responsible for posted messages, images, or videos. Nor do we make any warranties, endorsements or assertions as to their credibility, truthfulness, or accuracy.
By registering as a member of The Outdoors Forum:
You agree that you WILL NOT post any messages that violate any laws.
You agree that you WILL NOT post/display any images or text that is in violation of any copyright laws. By doing so, you may subject yourself to a lawsuit by the owner of the material. TOF and its owner(s) are NOT responsible for any copyright violations created by the posts or actions of ANY of its users. TOF Management will remove any copyrighted material within a reasonable amount of time if requested to do so by the holder of the copyright.
You agree that you understand that TOF is a non-commercial website and will not register a username that reflects a business name (example: Bob’s Guide Service) Doing so will be considered SPAM, and in violation of our NO ADVERTISING policy. A TOF staff member will contact you and request you change your screen name. If you fail to alter your username to a non-commercial name, then the username will be removed. Registered usernames that in the opinion of TOF are offensive in poor taste will also have an alteration request sent and will be removed if you fail to comply.
You agree that you WILL NOT register more than one username. Doing so will result in the termination of all usernames held by the user.
You agree to our NO SPAM policy. Any messages or links that constitute advertising or SPAM in the judgment of TOF will be immediately removed. This includes links to commercial websites or including company names or logos in your signature, under your avatar or in your post. A commercial enterprise or company includes, but is not limited to, any for-profit business.
As an accomodation to TOF members, TOF permits members to include a link to their businesses under"personal webpage" in the member's personal profile. TOF also permits members to post a link to their companies or other personal website in the Members' Businesses section of the links page.
Please help us keep The Outdoors Forum SPAM-free. Deliberate violations of this policy will result in the member's account being suspended. Repeated offenses may result in the loss of membership privileges on TOF
